SHAN’s operation is a success, which thrills everybody utterly. SHAN is very grateful to CHOI and considers him one of his greatest friends. This makes LEUNG a little upset and jealous. WAH is allowed to join the Hong Kong Team but nobody offers him congratulations. WAH works part-time as a hawker hoping to minimize his family’s financial burden. His classmate PAU YUK-MING walks past his stall and plays a trick on him. MING has accidentally injured WAH’s legs while teasing him. SZE is grateful to CHOI for having saved SHAN and has obviously changed her attitude towards him. CHOI is chuffed to bits while LEUNG is so upset. SZE brings SHAN to the doctor for a follow-up consultation but the rain comes down suddenly along the way. LEUNG is worried about them and hurries to the hospital to pick them up.
